I too am concerned about the AI Conference location.
John McCarthy has drafted a letter that we were going
to send around.  If he hasn't sent it to you yet, you
may want to peek in "ISRAEL.LE1[LET,JMC]".

I agree that it would be reasonable to poll the community
and will happily turn over the old list of attendees.

Incidentally, I am about to head off by bicycle to San Diego
and expect to get back here the evening of June 25.   I will
call my office once or twice to check on messages, in case
something needs to be done in the meantime.
